Eamonn Dougan

Eamonn Dougan is a recognized choral conductor who has gained international acclaim for his work with several prestigious ensembles and orchestras.

 

Dougan studied music at New College, Oxford, and singing and conducting at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Since then, he has established himself as a talented conductor and musician. He is particularly known for his longstanding collaboration with the vocal ensemble The Sixteen, where he has been an associate conductor for many years. Additionally, Dougan is the founder and director of Britten Sinfonia Voices, where he has conducted several world premieres and performed a diverse repertoire. He also serves as the chief conductor of the Jersey Chamber Orchestra.

 

In addition to his conducting commitments, Eamonn is dedicated to educating choir groups worldwide. He has been involved in teaching and workshops with ensembles such as the BBC Singers, Narodowe Forum Muzyki Choir, and many others.
