On Wednesday March 20, 7.30pm, you can tune in on Danish Radio P2 and hear Ars Nova's perfomance of Buxtehude's Membra Jesu Nostri. The concert is introduced by Rie Koch, who also interviews Asger Lynge Pedersen og Kristin Mulders.
After the concert you can also hear Ars Nova's recording of Johannes Ockeghems uncomplete Requiem from the 14th century. It is completed by parts by the the Danish contemporary composer Bent Sørensen.
A new Cd has just come out on Harmonia Mundi. It features a retrospective selection of music by Arvo Pärt and it has already recieved a numer of enthusiastic reviews. The the CD is the highlight of the month at the Harmonia Mundi website.

During the Minimal Extreme Festival in Glasgow last weekend Ars Nova sang three concerts and one of the main events was the performance of four new songs Sea Songs by Steve Martland commissioned jointly by Ars Nova and the festival. The songs was world premiered in Denmark in February and this was the first performance attended by the composer. He was very happy with the result and afterwards wrote: "It was very special for me to hear that performance and an experience that I won't forget."
The CD 'The Little Match Girl Passion' was among this years Grammy winners! The CD presents vocal music by the American composer David Lang. The 'title piece' was recorded by Paul Hillier's own ensemble Theatre of Voices And Ars Nova contributed with four pieces, including For Love is Strong which was written for the ensemble.
In June 2009 Ars Nova performed music by David Lang at the Bang on a can Marathon in New York.
