With the performance of this masterpiece we complete our three-year project to perform and record all the narrative works of Schütz. The evangelist is the internationally renowned English tenor Julian Podger, a specialist in baroque opera. Christus remains - as in all our previous Schütz Passions - the voice of Jakob Bloch Jespersen.
